bacongetter is a US marketplace for homesteaders, makers, growers, and barterers. we help people buy, sell, trade, and barter handmade goods, farm produce, tools, and related items. this is not a platform for commercial services unrelated to homesteading, and is not a dating service.
by using bacongetter, you agree to comply with these terms of service. if you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our platform.
you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. you agree not to:
users may post listings to sell, trade, or give away goods. all content must be truthful, respectful, and comply with applicable laws. bacongetter reserves the right to remove listings that violate these terms.
posting a listing requires a one-time $1 payment or a $5/month subscription for unlimited listings. payments are processed via Stripe. subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law.
you retain ownership of the content you post. by posting to bacongetter, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content for platform operations.
bacongetter provides the platform on an "as-is" basis. we are not responsible for user conduct, disputes between buyers and sellers, or any damages arising from your use of the platform. you use this platform at your own risk.
bacongetter reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms or any applicable laws.
the following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate listing removal and account termination: illegal goods or services, counterfeit items, weapons, controlled substances, or any content designed to exploit or deceive another person.
we may modify these terms at any time. continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
